Everything below about Candy AI is a summary of their own pages: pricing, help center and terms of service as of late September 2026. Prices in this niche change fast, so double-check the site before paying.

What Candy AI is

It's a site with a catalog of ready-made companions (girls, guys, anime characters) and a builder for your own: looks, voice, personality. The main selling point is generation. Subscribers order images, turn them into short videos, listen to voice messages and can even call a character (calls were in beta when we checked). The owner is EverAI Limited, a company based in Malta.

The service has no app in the App Store or Google Play: the help center suggests adding the site to your phone's home screen. So any "Candy AI app" in a store belongs to someone else. As of September 2026, the site loaded from Russia without a VPN.

What "Candy AI in Russian" actually means

The interface is translated into thirteen languages, and Russian isn't one of them. You can write to a character in Russian and the model will reply. But the service doesn't promise the reply will sound like natural speech rather than a translation from English. According to the help center, you change the chat language by changing the site language, which resets your chat history, and there are no such instructions for Russian.

You can test the Russian in three messages. Write using the formal "vy," then suggest switching to the casual "ty." Drop an idiom like "nu ty i zhuk" (roughly "you sly fox"). If the character is a woman, watch the grammatical gender: "ya ustala," not "ya ustal" ("I'm tired" in the feminine, not the masculine). A translated character trips over all of these at once.

What's free: five messages, total

Without a subscription, according to the help center as of September 2026, you get five messages total across all characters, one custom character and one image. There's no free trial week. Five lines are enough to say hi and see if you like the style, but not to get into a story.

Sites promising "Candy AI premium for free" or a "hack" are selling access to someone else's account or harvesting your data. The subscription lives on the service's server, and you can't get around it on your phone. Why these schemes end with a lost account is covered in our piece on cracked versions of AI chats.

What the subscription costs in rubles

Prices from the subscription page as of September 29, 2026, converted at the Bank of Russia rate for that day, before fees:

  • One week: $5.60, about 470 rubles.
  • Two weeks: $9.79, about 830 rubles.
  • One month: $13.99, about 1,180 rubles.
  • Three months: $26.97, about 2,280 rubles (≈ 760 rubles a month).
  • One year: $47.88, about 4,040 rubles (≈ 340 rubles a month).

Every plan auto-renews at the same price. The subscription includes unlimited messages and 100 tokens a month. Tokens are spent on images, videos, voice messages and calls; when they run out, you buy a pack. If your subscription ends, any leftover tokens are lost. There's also a higher plan with more tokens and "memory slots," but its price wasn't shown on the public page.

The big number on the banner is the monthly price if you pay for a year up front. Do the math for the term you'd actually be willing to pay for.

How people pay from Russia: three links instead of one

Officially, Candy AI accepts cards, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfers, but the options depend on the country. Cards from Russian banks don't go through on foreign sites. That's according to the payment intermediaries themselves, who obviously have their own interest here. That's why searching for "candy ai subscription" in Russian turns up almost nothing but intermediaries and key resellers.

  1. The price in dollars: $13.99 a month.
  2. The exchange rate and the intermediary's fee. One of them, in an August 2026 article on vc.ru (a popular Russian tech and business site), quoted 350 rubles for a purchase this size, which brings a month to about 1,530 rubles.
  3. Who controls access. If the intermediary pays into your account, the account is yours. If you're sold a "ready-made account," the email and password recovery stay with the seller, along with your chats.

One more detail from the help center: you can't remove your only card while a subscription is active. If you paid with an intermediary's card or a friend's card abroad, agree in advance on who will turn off auto-renewal and when.

Refunds: 24 hours and no more than 20 tokens

Under the terms dated September 22, 2026, you get your money back if you ask within 24 hours of paying and have spent no more than 20 tokens. Only card payments are refunded, not crypto. A two-week cooling-off period applies only to residents of the EU and the UK. On your bank statement, the charge shows up as "EverAI."

Checklist before you pay

  • Make sure the address is exactly candy.ai. Search results include lookalike domains with "candyai" in the name.
  • Spend your five free messages testing the Russian, not saying "hi."
  • Calculate the price with that day's exchange rate and the intermediary's fee, not from the banner.
  • Decide who will turn off auto-renewal if you're not paying with your own card.
  • Don't buy a "ready-made account."
  • Remember the refund window: 24 hours.

Where Candy AI is strong

If generation is what you want (an image from a description, a video from an image, a voice call), that's the core of Candy AI. The annual plan is also cheap per month, even with fees. For an English-speaking user it's a clear, well-rounded service. For a Russian speaker, the main questions are language and payment, not features.

If you want natural replies and no middlemen

my-idol.ru works differently. The characters here reply in natural, idiomatic English or Russian, whichever you choose: heroes from anime, movies and books like Frieren or Yennefer, plus original characters with ready-made story hooks. They remember the conversation, you can listen to a reply in the character's voice, and you can bring several characters into one group chat. Plans are priced in rubles, and the site loads from Russia without workarounds. You can build your own character in the builder: personality, backstory, way of speaking. More on how to choose a service in our roundup of the best AI chats in Russian.

In chat you can ask for an image, like a scene or a selfie of the character. But if what you want most is videos made from images and voice calls, Candy AI is built exactly for that, and it's more honest to pick it.

Try it in English or Russian

Open the catalog and write to any character. You'll hear right away whether the replies sound natural or translated.
