What "online" means in practice

Behind that word is a simple expectation: no app to download, no appointment, no waiting. Open a tab and start typing. That's how most AI chats work, including my-idol.ru: the site runs in the browser on your phone and computer. But it's worth checking three things before you get deep into a conversation.

  1. Do you need to sign up?Some places let you type right away, others ask you to log in first. The difference is bigger than it looks: without an account, the conversation often only lasts until you close the tab.
  2. Will the conversation be saved?Heavy topics rarely fit into one evening. If you want to pick it up tomorrow and the other side remembers nothing, you'll have to tell the whole story again.
  3. Does it work well on a phone?These conversations usually happen at night, on a phone. Take a minute to check how the chat looks on a small screen and whether the keyboard jumps around.
