How to use the templates
Each prompt is a starting point. Wherever there are square brackets, describe your own situation: who, what was said, how it ended. The more specific you are, the less fluff you get back. "We had a fight" gets you a lecture on conflict; "he forgot to pick me up from the airport and texted 'ok sorry'" gets you a real conversation.
Start every request with the same line. It sets the tone:
Be a calm, honest conversation partner. Don't just agree with me, and if I'm wrong somewhere, tell me straight.
Keep the limits in mind. The AI only knows your side of the story and doesn't replace talking to your partner or seeing a therapist. If there's control, threats, or fear in the relationship, that's a job for a professional, not a template.
Unpack a conflict or a text thread
- Stuck in an argument"[Who] and I have been arguing about [what] for [how long]. Their position: [what]. Mine: [what]. Explain what actually matters to each of us and where we're talking past each other."
- Unclear tone"I got this message: [message]. What tones could this line have, from neutral to hurt? What would help me figure out which one it really is?"
